I am 85 years old and I very recently became interested in water color painting when my daughter sent me a book by another artist showing a finished painting of a bird and on the opposite page was a light sketch of the same bird. My daughter also sent a set of water color paints and a small brush.  I was able to paint a few of the birds that looked very similar to the one the artist painted. So it really sparked my interest in painting. Then I came across one of your tutorials on U tube of a very whimsical house and that even sparked my interest so much more.  I really enjoy how you start from scratch using a pencil to draw the whimsical looking building followed by your actual painting. I found this to be right up my alley because I did not have to worry about my drawing or painting being PERFECT. It was whimsical and colorful and it looked great. What’s not to love?  I looked forward to your next whimsical style of drawing and painting.  It is truly a style of art that I can do and feel great about what I have put on paper.  You have instilled in me the confidence to create my own whimsical style paintings.  Thanks to you Tracey at my age I have found a hobby that I can just go to my area that my wife was kind enough to set up for me in her sewing room and draw and paint to my hearts content.
